Dixon Profile
Chief instructor Mark Dixon 5th Dan began his training in 1982 at the age
of 12, training 3 times a week and entering competitions when ever
he could. Starting with traditional Wado-ryu karate for some years
before moving to York, then tried other styles but returned back
to Wado-ryu in 1992. While training in karate & kickboxing he
was picked to represent England in an open karate competition in
Las Vegas.
Shortly after taking his 3rd dan he set up his own martial arts
academy with clubs in York, Harrogate & Leeds, these clubs train
twice a week and Mark has a team of instructors working with him.
